Meet the Founder

Hey there!  I’m Zach DeMascole - an independent consultant with a background in strategy, finance, and operations. I help founders, operators, and growing businesses tackle complex challenges with clarity, structure, and actionable insight. Whether it's building financial models, bringing a business to the next level, or streamlining processes, I bring a data-driven approach that supports confident decision-making.

Before starting New Vantage Consulting, I spent ten years in Corporate America, gaining firsthand experience in high-stakes business environments.  I made my most significant impacts in the areas of Strategy, Finance, and Operations, but have also influenced changes in Supply Chain, Contracts, Pricing, and Product Development.  I graduated from a highly competitive mid-career leadership program intended for the company’s upcoming leaders, and it made me a stronger partner for business through exposure to executive mentors, leadership roundtables, conferences, career coaches, and leadership seminars.  Regardless of what role I was fulfilling, the mindset and attitude I brought to each team was constant - unrelenting pursuit of continuous improvement, challenging the status quo, and turning good things into greatness.  Sure, I know how business works, but it’s pairing that strong acumen and strategic thinking with a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude and commitment to looking at things in new, creative ways that makes New Vantage Consulting different.

I earned my MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, with an emphasis in Technology Management. I also hold a B.S. in Finance from Penn State, with minors in Economics and Legal Environment of Business, and studied International Business at Florence University of the Arts.

When I’m not elevating businesses with new perspectives, you’ll find me socializing with friends and family, exploring new cities, or applying that continuous improvement mindset to my own home one DIY project at a time — I enjoy the challenge of building on things that have untapped potential….whether it’s for a project under my own roof or for a business like yours.
